Microsoft Quantum Brand System
For many years, Microsoft has invested heavily in the research and development of quantum computing. They believe their approach will be the breakthrough needed to realize and harness the immense power of a working quantum computer. Microsoft sought to visually interpret not only the technical subject matter but also their unique approach to the difficulties involved.
The design challenge was to take this complex subject and reduce it to a simple representational language, easily understandable to the layman. The use of perfect gridded geometry to reflect the precise nature of mathematics was the first logical step. From there we developed a visual system for the key terms involved, designed several posters highlighting Microsoft’s undertaking as well as an explainer animation to describe the journey Microsoft is taking to improve our world through quantum computing.
